It has been a pleasure to meet and work with the Year 4 students, guiding them towards academic excellence and personal growth. This page serves as a platform to showcase the children's achievements and provide essential information. This page gets updated regularly so please keep checking.

Communication: For any queries or concerns, please feel free to contact staff through Class Dojo. Open communication between parents and teachers is crucial for the children's progress and well-being. We also keep our class story updated with photos and messages.

Timetable:

  • PE classes are scheduled for Mondays and Tuesdays. Kindly ensure that your child comes prepared with their PE kit/swimming kits, on these days.

  • Swimming sessions will take place every Tuesday morning. Further details regarding swimming lessons can be accessed through the provided link.

Homework: Your child will receive a comprehensive homework log sheet every Friday encompassing tasks in maths, English, spelling, R.E value thoughts, and Creative Curriculum activities. Completion of these tasks at home is essential, with submissions to be made via the home learning book or uploaded onto Class Dojo.

Behaviour Standards: Our classroom ethos rests on three fundamental principles: READY, RESPECTFUL, and SAFE. Consistent adherence to these rules will be acknowledged through recognition awards.

Times Tables: At the end of the summer term, Year 4 students will undergo a times table check. Proficiency in times tables up to 12 is instrumental in enhancing their mathematical skills. Access to Times table Rockstar's has been provided for daily practice, aiding in the development of their multiplication proficiency.

We are dedicated to ensuring a fruitful and enriching learning experience for your child. Together, let us inspire a profound love for learning.
